- Gas leak or persistent gas smell: If you detect the odorant added to natural gas or propane near your Bertazzoni range or rangetop and the smell persists after shutting off the surface burners, leave the home, do not operate any electrical switches, and call both your gas utility and our 24/7 line. A technician will isolate and correct the leak — typically at the supply connector, manifold valve, or a failed burner valve — before the appliance is returned to service.
- Electrical sparking or burning smell: Sparking from a control board, burning smell from the oven cavity, or visible scorching on the Vetroceramic surface of a Master Series induction cooktop are indicators of an electrical fault that should not be operated again until inspected. Shut the appliance off at the circuit breaker if it cannot be safely powered down at the control panel.
- Refrigerator or freezer failure: A Bertazzoni built-in column refrigerator that stops cooling presents an immediate food spoilage risk. If the interior temperature rises above 40°F and the compressor is not running, call us immediately. - Dishwasher water flooding: Water on the floor from a DW24PR or DW24XT is both a slip hazard and a potential subfloor damage situation. Shut off the dishwasher's water supply valve (typically under the adjacent sink cabinet) and call us. Common causes include a failed door latch, a split drain hose, or a failed inlet valve — all correctable same-day with parts on the truck.

For wine column failures, the risk profile is different from food refrigerators — temperature rise is slower and spoilage risk lower — but same-day response is still available. Dishwasher emergencies cover the DW24PR and DW24XT; these units share the ASKO platform and the relevant inlet and drain components are typically stocked on the truck.
