Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
E1 Water fill timeout Medium The machine starts its program, the pump primes, but no water enters the tub. The cycle times out and halts before the wash phase begins. View E3 Water heating fault Medium Because wash water never reached the correct temperature, detergent enzymes did not activate fully. Oily film and food residue remain on glassware and plates after a full cycle. View E4 Anti-flood sensor triggered High The flood-protection system activates the drain pump to attempt to remove water from the base tray. The pump runs non-stop even when no cycle is selected and the door is open. View E8 Diverter valve fault Medium The diverter valve alternates water flow between the upper and lower spray arm circuits during a cycle. A stuck or failed valve leaves one rack completely unwashed, with dishes exiting as dirty as they entered. View E9 Stuck button detected Low A button stuck in the depressed position is the most direct physical sign of this fault. Pressing surrounding buttons may feel normal, but the affected button has no travel or rebound. View EC Control or motor fault High The machine halts completely during a wash cycle — spray arms stop, the pump goes silent, and buttons on the control panel produce no response. The tub may contain standing water at this point. View ED Door latch signal fault Medium The door latches with a normal click and feels firmly shut, but the control board never receives a valid latch confirmation signal. The cycle halts or refuses to initiate, and Ed flashes on the display. View F2 Anti-flood triggered High The anti-flood logic forces the drain pump on whenever the overfill sensor is active. The machine refuses to fill and begin washing because it believes the sump is already over-full. View F3 Thermistor sensor fault High The cycle fills and may begin circulation but never advances to the heated wash stage, stopping early with F3 displayed. View F5 Inlet valve leakage fault High The pump activates immediately when a cycle begins, purging water that has slowly entered the tub while the machine was idle. View F7 Drain fault Medium Opening the door after a completed cycle reveals murky water sitting above the filter, and dishes are wet with food-streaked water rather than clean rinse water. The drain cycle did not complete. View F9 Circulation pump fault High Food residue remains on dishes and cutlery exactly as loaded, indicating water never circulated through the spray arms. View F41 Temperature rise too slow Medium The machine fills and begins circulating but then stops progressing through the cycle. Water sits in the tub and the display shows F41 after the heating phase fails to register any temperature rise within 10 minutes. View F42 Thermistor (NTC sensor) fault Medium Without a valid temperature signal, the control board cannot confirm when target temperatures are reached. Cycles may run with tepid water, overshoot temperature, or abort early — resulting in poor cleaning and no sanitization. View F56 Wash motor error High The dishwasher fills with water normally but wash action never starts; the cycle halts around 15 minutes in with F56 on the display. View
