Shut off the water supply immediately
Turn the hot-water shut-off valve under the sink clockwise to fully closed. This stops any additional water from entering the unit via a leaking inlet valve while you investigate.
Leave the supply closed until the cause has been identified and repaired. Do not rely on the solenoid to stop fill if the valve seat is worn.

Check and clear the drain filter and hose
Remove the lower spray arm and lift out the filter assembly. Rinse the filter under tap water and check for blockages. Also pull the unit out slightly and confirm the drain hose is not kinked and is correctly high-looped behind the unit.
A drain hose that is not high-looped can cause a siphon effect, allowing sink water to back-siphon into the tub.

Remove visible excess water from the tub
If the drain pump has cleared most water but a small amount remains, use a towel or cup to remove the residual water from the sump area. This helps reset the float switch if it was stuck due to water pressure.
Do not restore water supply or attempt a cycle until a technician has confirmed the inlet valve is not leaking through.
