Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
CLOG-FLAME Burner ports clogged Medium A healthy Bertazzoni star burner produces a stable ring of small blue cones around the crown. Yellow or orange flames indicate incomplete combustion from blocked ports restricting gas flow through individual burner holes. View E1-IND Induction zone overvoltage Medium The affected zone shows E1 immediately when the rangetop is powered or when the zone is selected, before any cooking has been attempted, indicating the protection circuit tripped at startup from an out-of-range supply voltage. View E3-IND Induction module fault High The affected zone does not respond to touch or zone selection commands — it may appear dark or display E3 immediately on any activation attempt, with no heating occurring at any power level. View FFD-CUTOUT Flame failure device cutout Medium The brass star burner ignites normally from the spark electrode but the flame disappears almost immediately when the knob is released, because the thermocouple tip has not yet heated enough to generate the millivoltage that holds the gas valve open. View H-RESIDUAL Residual heat warning Low The H indicator appears immediately after cooking ends, alerting household members that the glass surface above the zone is still hot enough to cause burns even though no element is active. View NO-GAS-FLAME Spark present, no flame High The electronic ignition arc is clearly visible at the electrode tip and the clicking sound confirms the ignition module is working, but no flame appears after holding the knob for 10 or more seconds. View SPARK-CONT Continuous ignition clicking Medium The characteristic rapid clicking of the electronic ignition persists across one or all burners after the cooking session ends and knobs are returned to the off position, indicating the ignition circuit is not releasing. View SPARK-NONE No ignition spark Medium The silent, spark-free response when depressing a knob indicates the ignition module is not receiving power or the electrode itself cannot produce an arc. View
