Bertazzoni Installation & Setup

Why Bertazzoni Installation Is Not a Standard Job

A Bertazzoni Professional Series PRO486 six-burner dual-fuel range is a 48-inch, 400-plus pound appliance that requires a dedicated 240V circuit, a gas supply line at a specific pressure range, proper manifold bonding to the home’s grounding system, and an anti-tip bracket installation that accounts for the unit’s weight distribution. A built-in column refrigerator — Bertazzoni’s fully integrated panel-ready format — requires door-panel alignment to within millimeter tolerances for the integrated cabinet look to close cleanly. These are not tasks where general contractor installation or big-box delivery crews produce reliable results.

Incorrect installation also affects Bertazzoni’s factory warranty. We perform all installation work to Bertazzoni’s published installation specifications and document the completed steps — giving you a clear record if a warranty claim ever arises.

What’s Included in the Installation

Installation scope varies by appliance type. Here is what each category involves:

  • Ranges (PRO304, PRO366, PRO486, MAST304, MAST366, HERT304, HERT486): Gas line connection at the range connector, manifold bonding, 240V circuit verification (dual-fuel models), level setting, anti-tip bracket, and a first-run burn-off cycle to clear manufacturing residue from the oven cavity. We walk through initial temperature calibration before we leave.
  • Rangetops (PROR304, PROR366, PROR486): Cutout dimension verification against the countertop cutout, gas line connection, surface seal, and full burner ignition test across all positions.
  • Induction cooktops (Master Series Vetroceramic): Cutout fit, 240V circuit verification, and a full zone power test. Ventilation clearance beneath the cooktop is checked — inadequate clearance is a common cause of early control board failure on Bertazzoni induction models.
  • Built-in column refrigerators and freezers: Cabinet clearance verification, door-panel installation and alignment, hinge torque setting, and a 24-hour temperature stabilization check. Column unit door panels require precise alignment — the process takes more time than most installers budget for.
  • Built-in dishwashers (DW24PR, DW24XT): Water supply connection, drain line routing, electrical connection, door height and gap adjustment for panel-ready configurations, and a full wash cycle with leak check.
  • Range hoods: Duct routing confirmation, wall or ceiling mounting, electrical connection, and a blower performance test at all speed settings.

Bertazzoni Models We Install

We install the complete Bertazzoni North America lineup. For ranges, that covers the Professional Series (PRO304, PRO366, PRO486), Master Series (MAST304, MAST366), Heritage Series (HERT304, HERT486), and Italia and Modern Series configurations. Rangetops — PROR304, PROR366, PROR486 — and the Professional Series wall ovens (PROF30OVE) are within scope.

Bertazzoni’s built-in column refrigerators, freezers, and Master Series wine columns are among the more demanding installations we handle — panel alignment work alone often takes 45–60 minutes on a column pair. The DW24PR and DW24XT dishwashers and the full Professional Series range hood lineup (wall-mount, island, and insert configurations) round out our installation coverage.

Schedule Your Installation

Installation appointments work best when the appliance is on-site and the cabinetry opening is complete. Book at /schedule and provide the model numbers of each appliance — we’ll confirm the electrical and gas requirements and advise on any preparatory work your contractor should complete before our arrival.
